The course will have a 3.5 hour lecture followed by a 2.5 hour hands on course which includes anatomically correct models with soft tissue.
Attendees will perform the incision and flap, site preparation, block preparation, block fixation and pericardial membrane placement, followed by the incision closure.
You will leave the course with knowledge and confidence to perform a safe and predictable treatment of atrophic sites.
A Bonus 1 hour lecture on aseptic operatory set up will be included as well!
Dr. Resnick, before entering dentistry, was for 10 years a certified surgical technician that assisted in a wide variety of surgical procedures. His operating room experience accounts for approximately 4000 to 5000 procedures including multiple oral and temporomandibular joint surgeries, mandible/maxilla trauma cases, LaFort procedures and mandibular osteotomies.
Over the last 32 years, Dr. Resnick has been a general practitioner in northwestern Minnesota and currently has 4 offices. In addition to general dentistry, he performs IV moderate sedation, Implant procedures, Sinus Augmentation procedures, soft tissue procedures, as well as extensive bone grafting procedures.
He has Earned Diplomate Status from the American Board of Oral Implantology and Implant Dentistry, Fellow Status from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and was Awarded the Paul Johnson Service Award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has lectured throughout the United States since 2003.
