With CBCT's quickly becoming the standard of care for many disciplines in dentistry, having the skills to quickly and accurately diagnose cases and identify pathology is a must have skill.
Join us for a hands-on CBCT interpretation course delivered by Dr. Lars Gaalaas, a board certified oral and maxillofacial radiologist with active clinical and teaching experience.
Receive guidance on the best practices in Cone Beam CT imaging in dentistry including recommended imaging protocols, reviewing and reporting expectations, universal viewer software strategies, and hands-on interpretation of teaching cases.
Computers with Romexis (Planmeca) Viewing Software Provided which will be preloaded with ideal cases from Dr. Gaalaas personal practice. These cases will help you gain comfort in creating a step by step protocol for reviewing CBCT's and knowing when you have a routine pathology that can be managed vs. when sending your CBCT into a radiologist for further evaluation would be indicated.
Dr. Gaalaas teaches principles and practice that can be applied to CBCT unit or software.
